John Jones and the Santa Rosa Sunrise Rotary go to Nicaragua for a dental and eye care project

Starting January 31 and running for four days, 17 members and friends of the Santa Rosa Sunrise Rotary Club will be providing dental and eye care services to the people in the San Lorenzo region of Nicaragua.

The team is led by John Jones, managing partner of Linkenheimer LLP CPA's & Advisors. The eye care team is expecting to examine over 1,000 people providing prescription eye glasses, sunglasses and screening for cataracts and pterigiums. The dental team will focus on extractions which is a significant in rural Nicaragua. A similar mission to Nicaragua two years ago resulted in over 240 extractions. The team from Santa Rosa will be working with members of the Managua-Tiscapa Rotary Club.
