Chortek & Gottschalk staff give talk
Paul Rodrigues and Dave Friedman, both of Chortek & Gottschalk LLP and both Certified Fraud Examiners, presented the symptoms of fraud and techniques to mitigate fraud at the Wisconsin Treasury Management Association Conference in Appleton, WI.
Through experience with and examples of fraud the Firm has been involved with; attendees were exposed to the persons who perpetrate this often unreported crime, their motives and their methods. Attendees learned that a team of experts and skills are needed when a business owner suspects this crime, to prevent the perpetrator from continuing to defraud and to recover all the available assets that are remaining.
