Melbourne accounting firm Baumgartners are pleased to announce the promotion of Josh Kennedy to Partner.

They said of the promotion: "Josh joined us from a large mid-tier practice in 2016 and has been very successful in his time with us so far. With a staff and clients first approach, he brings a wealth of experience, energy and enthusiasm to the team. We warmly welcome him to the partnership and are very excited to see what we can achieve together in the future."

Josh specialises in servicing privately held small to medium-sized enterprises, along with high net worth individuals and families. He provides guidance and advice to established and start-up clients alike, with coverage across a broad spectrum of industries.

Josh has a passion for working closely with his clients and assisting them to reach their strategic objectives through his deliberate and diligent approach. His entrepreneurial flair often has him questioning the status quo of clients' affairs, offering guidance and reassurance around an alternate methodology or new business opportunity. Among other areas, he has developed and possesses extensive expertise in the areas of:

  • Outsourced CFO services
  • Board of Advice
  • Financial modelling and feasibility analysis
  • Facilitation of R&D and Export Market Development Grant claims
  • Business structuring and asset protection

Particularly for those based offshore, the Australian tax system is a complex one. Baumgartners pride themselves on simplifying these complexities for foreign investors – they are passionate about advising, adding value, protecting and growing their clients’ hard-earned wealth in Australia.

Josh commented on his promotion: "Personally, I am excited and thoroughly looking forward to representing Baumgartners and meeting my new Alliott Group colleagues whilst attending the ASEAN conference in Shanghai in June."
