Mr. Berger leads the Firm's corporate tax practice. He is involved in structuring many of the corporate transactions in which the Firm is involved, especially in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, limited liability companies, partnerships and S corporations, executive compensation, private equity and venture capital investments, and fund formations. Mr. Berger also has extensive experience in the tax aspects of business start-ups, bankruptcy and debt restructurings, real estate transactions, cross-border transactions, federal and state audits and appeals, ruling requests and collection matters, and the formation and operation of tax-exempt organizations.
Mr. Berger also maintains an active corporate law practice involving the formation and ongoing representation of large and mid-sized business entities, private investment funds and joint ventures, and he is regularly engaged by both management and employees in the negotiation and drafting of executive employment and separation/severance agreements.
Giles joined Alliott Group in November 2015 and is the alliance's COO. He has overall responsibility for group strategy and for ensuring the membership continues to thrive through growth and consolidation in key markets, the development and extension of group services and an improved return on investment for member firms.
He has over 15 years' experience working for international alliances in senior management roles and has also provided strategic marketing support to professional services firms.
Giles holds the Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma in Digital Marketing and a degree in European Studies (French & German) from the University of Bath. Married with two children, a girl and a boy.

Valerie Menard is a partner in the firm's tax department and serves on the alliance's Global Mobility Services Group Leadership Team.
Valerie achieved a BBA and a specialized graduate diploma in Public Accounting in 2003. The same year, she was designated Best Performer in Quebec and was awarded a gold medal by the profession. Later on, she earned a Master of Law with the Taxation option (LL.M.) from HEC Montrea, the Montreal University business school and from the University of Montreal Law Faculty, with honors. Her career began with a Big Four accounting firm.
Valerie has been with Hardy, Normand & Associes since 2004.

Daryl specializes in planning and taxation matters for family-owned businesses, high-income individuals, and retirees. He has extensive audit and tax experience in real estate, construction, and development, agriculture, and wineries. Daryl is particularly knowledgeable in the field of affordable housing, and has served as an expert witness in litigation involving tax credit partnerships.
Daryl's strong working knowledge of the tax law has helped to make him an effective advocate for clients in tax planning, compliance, and in representation before taxation authorities. He leads the firm's efforts in international business, and works with U.S. clients who have foreign owners.
After graduating from the University of Northern British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in 2007, Jeremy went on to receive his CPA, CA (National Honour Role) designation in 2009. Jeremy was born in Prince Rupert, BC and, after living in Vancouver from 2007 to 2018, he has recently moved back to re-open Vohora LLP�s office there to better service our Northern clients. Jeremy has extensive experience assisting his clients in all of their accounting, taxation, assurance and business advisory needs. This includes advising on corporation reorganizations, corporate and individual tax planning, mergers and acquisitions and succession planning. Jeremy joined Vohora LLP in 2005 as a co-op student and became a partner in 2010. In 2016, he was awarded the CPABC Early Achievement Award for his accomplishments. When not in the office Jeremy can be found on the golf course, fishing or spending time with his wife and son.

David came to Sacramento in 1981, and joined Grant Bennett Associates in 1991. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of CPAs, the Kentucky Society of CPAs, and the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA). He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1969 and became a CPA in 1972. David is a past Chair of the statewide CalCPA Accounting Principles & Auditing Standards Committee, having previously served as the Chair of the Auditing Standards Subcommittee; he continues to serve on that committee as well as the Government Relations Committee. He has been member of the Council of the CalCPA and has served as the Chair of the Audit Committee, a member of the Executive Committee, and a member of the Peer Review Committee. He is also a past member of the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Chapter of the CalCPA. He is a past Chair of the Board of United Way California Capital Region as well as being a continuing member of the Finance Committee and the Audit Committee. David presently serves as Chair of the Health Impact Council. Additionally, he was a member of the Membership Accountability Committee of United Way of America. David has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Community Services Planning Council, and is also a past President of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Sacramento. For fun, David loves to dawdle on the California Delta on his sail boat.

Mark S. Weber, Managing Partner, began his career with the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse in 1981. Although he has extensive experience in all aspects of taxation, Mark prefers to focus on individuals and small businesses and also has significant expertise in the area of business valuation. Mark holds the AICPA Personal Financial Specialist designation (PFS) and is a Certified Fund Specialist (CFS).

He has over 30 years of experience in public accounting with concentrations in traditional accounting, audit, tax services, and business advisory services. Pramen is a proud member of the Society of Management Accountants of Ontario, the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Toronto Board of Trade. From 2001 to 2005, he was a member of the Practice Inspection Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Ontario. Pramen also serves as an advisor to an advisory board whose members comprise of stakeholders and directors of privately-held companies.
