Leading UK law firm Ellisons Solicitors incorporating Gross & Co. has appointed Rosalyn Jacobs as a family law specialist. Rosalyn joins the firm’s family law team based in Bury St Edmunds in the East of England.

A highly experienced and well-respected family lawyer, Rosalyn was recognised by the Legal 500 in 2019 as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ and is well versed in dealing with all aspects of family law including divorce, financial settlements and matters relating to children.

Commenting on her appointment, Rosalyn said:

“I am delighted to be joining Ellisons as it is a well-known firm with an excellent reputation for its family department. Ellisons has a proven track record for delivering excellent customer service, and I am really looking forward to providing a high level of service to my clients.”

This is the second appointment for the firm since merging with Gross & Co. in August 2019, that has seen it expand its presence into seven regions of Suffolk and Essex. Since then the firm has grown to over 250 staff in total, with the firm’s family team now consisting of two partners and four lawyers that work across all seven offices.

Nicky Coates, Ellisons’ Partner and Head of Family commented:

“I’m delighted to welcome Rosalyn to the team. She is well-respected in the industry and her knowledge in family law will help to drive further growth into the business and deliver an even better service for our new and existing clients.”

Ellisons received a raft of recommendations in last years’ Legal 500 including the highly regarded Tier 1 ranking for its immigration and commercial property departments. You can read more here.
